Fun Weekends!

We have had a VERY fun filled past few weekends! Tucker is going to start thinking this is the norm!
Last weekend we got to go visit with our friends from my old job to celebrate our buddy Noah's 1st birthday! It was a beautiful day and we had such a nice time playing with friends!

That night we went to Septemberfest with my parents. They love taking Tucker to fairs because he LOVES the rides so much.  This year he was absolutely adorable and SO into the rides. It was pure joy! He had all of us go on at least one ride with him. Thankfully we were able to distract him from each ride with another, because he would have gone on each one over and over again.  We had to distract him with dessert to get him to leave! Brayden was a dream and just hung out in the stroller the whole night.  He will get to have fun next year:)

he LOVED his first solo ride

first roller coaster ride with Grandma! He was squealing...so was grandma!

Then on Sunday Tucker and I went to church together, had a lunch date, and then went to touch a truck.  They did such an awesome job putting it together.  All of the kids got to go in a bounce house, see TONS of different kinds of trucks and cars, climb in most of them, the got construction hats, fire hats, T-shirts, Big tool boxes, and T got to go on a bucket-ride up "high in the sky".  My dad came to meet us and Tucker was so excited to have Papa there to see all of the trucks.  We also got to go on a "choo chop train" ride around the even that he was in love with.  Thankfully he got tired because I think he could have stayed there all day! Can't wait to go back next year!!

Papa getting in on the fun:)

Getting harnessed up for the bucket ride!

This guy, James, was great! He is a special soul to do this with the kids.  Tucker was talking about James for the next few days!

toting his loot back in the house! The box was filled with goodies by the end of the day.  Well worth the $5 per person:)

Then there was this guy...who somehow restyled his shirt during his nap!

This past weekend we had an AWESOME time at Oktoberfest at Old Heidelberg with our neighbors. German food, beer, fun and lots excitement for the kids!  Wish I had the pictures to put up already, but it was a great time!
Then the next day we went to celebrate our niece's birthday. Tucker had a great time seeing and playing with his cousins, despite his minimal nap.  He has been an absolute BEAR to get to go down for naps the past few weeks...he just plays in his bed and sings songs etc and takes over an hour to fall asleep! Too much fun I guess:)

Fun day:)

I got to go with tucker to his second day of preschool today! Very cute:)

The boys had fun playing/exploring before lunch.

B trying to climb up the slide...he thinks he's bigger than he is:)

When I put him to sleep, both arms were in his shirt. When I he woke up I had to look twice at the monitor! He's a magician!

A little after dinner cruise around the neighborhood with the boys:)

Tucker's 1st day of school!!!

Tucker had his first day of preschool today! He's going to a 2's program in the town next to ours. It's at a Christian preschool which is great because they will teach him some similar values that we are trying to teach at home!  The have the parents stay at the beginning for awhile (I'm hoping we don't have to do it for too long) so Max took him today, since I was working. I was so sad to miss it, but it was only my fourth day of work so I couldn't go:( I made Max take a ton of pictures. He was awesome-and the only dad there! Tucker had a lot of fun and told me all about it when he came home.
I left his clothes out but apparently didn't mention not to pull his socks all the way up...I'm not a huge fan of that look for the most part.  But he still looks super cute!!

"chain gang" to walk to the playground

bye bye song with the teachers. Apparently he was the only one who wouldn't give Mrs. Lewis a hug. Kind of ironic because he was trying to hug some kid he randomly met after 1 minute last weekend:)

Happy little boy with his picture he colored at school. I can't wait to take him on Monday and see how he does and meet his new friends!
